. Currently in Moreton Bay shire where we are there is already some roads under water.

TC Alfred is slow moving and that is not a good thing. It is turning into a perfect storm which is bad news. But please use the official sites such as BoM for all warnings ( even though I was cranky with them in post or two back) , and the press conferences from the Kedron Emergency Services or wherever they are coming from at that point in time. Very valuable information in those press conferences. There is already over 20,000 homes without power at this stage. If you loose power please tune your battery radio into a reliable news source. i find ABC 612 am to be very good during emergencies.

Please stay safe and be prepared to be bunkered down for sometime as this is slow moving. Once it crosses the Coast more rain is expected. If there is a big eye, an there is a calm period, do not venture outside as you could quickly be caught out by the Northern rear flank of the storm which has a powerful sting and is just as dangerous.

Once again stay safe .

This is the latest update this morniing

I have included the water vapour image to show where the moisture is feeding the system from and why flooding is going to be and already is a big issue.
