The cold weather continues over Southern Queensland thanks to a high and cold weather pushing up from the Southern States. The clear skies at night have caused overnight temperatures to drop well below the June average.

It was the coldest minimum temperature recorded in Brisbane since 2014 dropping to 5.2°C with a feel like temperature of 3.8°C. (Brisbane 2014 lowest min. was 5.2°C

As for the Brisbane Airport it dropped to 3.5°C with a feel like of 0.3°C. The cold weather should continue for the next 6 days at least. Daytime temperatures should rise a little to just above 20°C then rising slightly to 23°C into next week.

It has definitely been extremely dry and you can feel your lips getting dry and some good static electricity when you hop out of the car. Crying BigGrin
