The missus pulled the plug on fishing today at 5.30 but i was still keen...so i drove down and sussed out the beach...and then went home and hooked up the boat.

Turned out to be a absolute cracker of a day..sun came out, sea calmed off to glass, whales were frolicking and only brought home 15 mixed spotties and doggies so just 1.5 hours of fish processing...but just 1km from home I had to turn on the wipers..welcome back to the hill country...lol..

Going to smoke up some Doggie fillets tomorrow...thats a really nice way to eat them...
