Wow yesterday was one of the best winters days I have seen on the water in a long time...just glassy with whales just about everywhere even cruising in between the anchored boats on Silver sands 10 metres past all the boats....No large spotty schools so far though we have been a couple od esky fulls of mixed spotty and doggies each trip...got one that went just over a metre yesterday..

Wednesday looks great again so I might see if the spotty schools are here yet..bit of weather from a high after that so maybe a week of windy showery crap..

We had 125mm this past week and doing a bit of roadworks turned to [censored]rather quickly..doing it all by hand as well with hand dug red dirt mixed with river gravel compacted plus a little 10mm blue metal scratched up from an old council pile on top... an inch or 2 would have been perfect but 5 inchs has created a bit of a mess..!

and yeah Bunyip smoked up a bit of that doggie but yeah wings of just about anything is lovely with that bit of fat in the belly area just making it so moist and taste so succulent..

The dogs have been living it up with all the skins of the keepers and unskinned doggie fillets as well..getting quite a stockpile in the freezer so the pooches should be good till xmas at least..
