Ah mate...it sux these nearby lightening strikes...

Our line is still crap..can barely maintain a connection on the internet...just waiting for the starlink stuff to arrive...we will just give up the landline entirely now as they have told us they wont be maintaining it anymore..

Not exactly sure how much rain we had last night but the creek was dirty and up a bit...some falls exceeding 100mm around the district..radar showing a bit of a blob down between Ingham and Townsville..What is it about that area the past couple of years...great annual rainfall totals for the usually dry Rollingstone area last year..geographically it doesnt really make sense that it seems to be catching these convergent rainfall events...

Was set to start work at the usual time of 6 this morning but still a bit rainy so slept in till 7 and was all good...light rain again now but at least its cool at 26c at 9am this morning...going to have the usual fresh poached eggs from my lovely little black girls this morning and get back at it..

Happy Australia day ..!..and enjoy the crustaceans Bunyip, sounds like a relaxing day is planned up there..!
