80mm for us with a corresponding cooling to the horrendous hot and humid days of the past week...phew..!

So El Arish now has an official BOM weather station which is great as the council hasnt been maintaining the ones at Bulgun and Tully and they have been offline for months now despite having been alerted to the fact..

The new station will soon be online after about 40K was spent on it with some community memebers helping with the install next to the school in town..

Bunyip I have a couple of O/U shotties which I have only used for the occasional pigs around here..one day when i have more time and money I'll have a crack at some trap shooting..a great skill to pick up I imagine.I may have mentioned I took the double trigger shottie out to the range a few months back because my boy wanted to have a go....first shot he pulled both triggers at once which was quite funny to watch and made him do a bit of a double take..lol

and yeah I also love the little hornet .mines a brno double trigger model which some people dont like but I love as I also have a hair trigger on my main .243 sniper rifle and get the best results accuracy wise when I can line up and then barely touch the trigger on a longer shot..

and mate look after yourself... I have lost 17kg in the past 18 months which is pretty sigificant for a 5 foot six shortarse....I used to work out with weights regular and was strong as an ox but carrying all that extra muscle and fat was getting hard on the joints and back..now that I do my training in more explosive movement and endurance so more fitness rather then strength for IPSC I feel 100% better...cant do much about the abused back and joints but overall I feel a lot better and can put a much longer workday in as well..
