Geez what did you take for the journey Bunyip ...an e-bike..!..just $65..I paid $3.20 a litre in Tully yesterday for diesel..over $10 just to drive 12 km to town and then back...

Holy cow SM thats just amazing ..Its furiating that so much government spending is totally wasted isnt it...!!!

Anyway it sounds like Exmouth copped it pretty bad from Cyclone Narelle both in wind and storm surge..I guess the flat and exposed section of coast there offered no protection at all either..

Strangely enough I cant see the same amount of damage up Coen way though and I have also seen footage from Pro fisho's during the blow that sheltered in the creeks in Princess Charlotte Bay ..It doesnt seem to be reflective of a Cat 4-5 on crossing..

and yeah some very wet forecasts for the fortnight ahead but I see a couple of models have begun to point a Low from the Coral Sea our way the end of next week while some still say its off to the SE..
