Notes of yesterday weather - 19/10/19: Cloudy with sc clouds and cu from later in the morning and cb at times, partly cloudy at times in the afternoon. Heavy fog with visibility down to 30 metres in the evening. Light showers in the mid morning, followed by a moderate thunderstorm with some heavy rain at 11:40 am. Light early afternoon shower. Late afternoon decaying thunderstorm and light shower. A warm morning and a cool day. The temperature was a little variable during the day and fell briefly in the late morning with the thunderstorm. The dew point slowly rose early in the day, more quickly during the morning (briefly quickly with the thunderstorm) and became moderately high in the afternoon. The dew point then fell through the afternoon and evening returning back to near average. High relative humidity over the entire day and during the late morning thunderstorm the relative humidity rose quickly. Light S to SW winds at times early in the day more frequent from the early morning. SSW to WSW winds from mid morning, ESE to S following the storm, then variable winds in the afternoon, N to NE from mid afternoon, ENE to N in the evening and became calm from 8pm.
Today: Very heavy fog cleared with sunrise. Dew was near average which fell and rose early in the day before sharply falling from 8:55 am which has quickly stabilised at moderately low. High overnight relative humidity falling quickly from 7:35 am. Light W to SW winds at times, becoming light and variable during the early morning followed by a gusty light S to SE wind change from 8:15 am with some S to SW winds also.
