Notes of yesterday weather - 2/12/19: Mostly sunny with some cu and ci clouds clearing during the morning. Smoke haze developed from the morning with a wind change. A few very brief light showers in the early hours. A hot day with the temperature rising very steadily through the morning and then at a slower rate from 10am before reaching the maximum in the afternoon. The temperature rose 10 C in the 4 hours to 10am and the temperature was very stable close to the maximum for 2 hours in the afternoon. A dry wind change at 8am pushed the dew point and relative humidity downwards very quickly with the dew point becoming very low later in the morning and fell to a low of -4 C in the early afternoon. The dew point gradually rose from mid afternoon while remaining low. Relative humidity also became very low later in the morning to a minimum of 8% in the afternoon before slowly rising for the rest of the day whilst remaining low. Light N to NW winds with a fraction of W to WSW winds before increasing gusty light W to NW winds from 8am until the end of the day with moderate winds from 10am through to 4pm and easing in speed later in the afternoon and in the evening. Some NW to NNW winds at times during the morning.
Today: The dew point is remaining low and has been rising slowly though have dropped back slightly in the last hour. Light W to SW winds early in the day became mostly calm before NNW to W winds in the last hour with some S to SE also. Relative humidity have been low with a overnight low of 47%.
