Notes of yesterday weather -
5/12/19: Fine and sunny. Smoke haze. A cool morning and a hot day. The temperature quickly from early in the day and steadily rose at a slower rate from 8am. The maximum temperature was reached in the afternoon before a wind shift. Dew point was near stable and moderately low before falling during the morning and reached -30 C in the mid morning. The dew point remained this low through to the afternoon while slowly rising. At 2:20pm the dew point rose very sharply with the wind shift rising 16 C in 2 minutes and then more gradually through to the evening becoming stable but moderately low later in the evening. Relative humidity was moderately low early in the day before falling very quickly in the morning. The relative humidity was very low and mostly between 1 and 2% until the wind shift in the afternoon saw the humidity rise sharply and then rise slower for the rest of the day while remaining low. Calm winds early in the day before dry NW to SW developed during the morning, N to NW from later in the morning. Some N to NE winds in the afternoon at times before shifting ESE to NE from the mid afternoon, followed E to NE and became calm later in the evening.
Today: Dew point have been moderately low and stable and have started to fall in the last 30 minutes. A cool morning before the temperature rose quickly this morning. At it warms up the relative humidity have fallen very quickly after moderately low and near stable relative humidity early in the day. Calm winds overnight have been followed by W to SW winds becoming S to ESE in the last hour.
