As Greg mentioned in his earlier post, the storm was not real photogenic, if anything up here in Bracken Ridge it was a bit of a scrambled mess until it pulled itself together at the last minute and gave us a thumping.

From looking out over to the airport in photo one you could see the inflow coming from the bay very clearly by the way the lower lying small scud cloud is pointing , and I believe that is why by the time it hit us then moved over the water to Redcliffe it had generated a lot of power with the 107km/h gust. The storm crosses approximately 2.5+ kilometres of water at Dohles Rocks and the outlets that opens up to the bay. It is pretty shallow water and is quite warm.
