Notes of yesterday weather - 24/12/19: Cloudy with cu and sc clouds easing during the afternoon to partly cloudy before increasing clouds of ci and cs with cu from distant storms later in the afternoon. A warm morning. A brief severe thunderstorm at 7:45pm with a brief period of very rainfall and fierce electrical activity, followed by thunder from nearby thunderstorms with light rain through during the rest of the evening. The temperature was variable from mid morning to mid afternoon. The temperature fell 3 C in 15 minutes with the thunderstorm for the rest of the day before stabilising for the rest of the evening. Dew point was generally stable and close to average before rising to moderately high with the thunderstorm before stabilising in the rest of the evening following the thunderstorm. Relative humidity was moderately low early in the day and near average during the day. Before, with and following the thunderstorm the relative humidity rose from 62 % to 89% 1 hour after the storm and remained high for the rest of the evening. Light N to NE winds early in the day, N to ENE winds in the early morning, NNE to E later in the morning, NNE to E in the afternoon and ENE to NE from the mid afternoon. Before the storm winds became S to SE and with and during the thunderstorm winds were variable before NNW to NE winds following the thunderstorm.
Today: The temperature was stable until sunrise with a near average minimum temperature. Dew point have been moderately high and stable early before rising further during this morning. Relative humidity have been high and was stable in the early hours of today before falling slowly this morning while remaining quite high. Mostly calm winds until SSW to WSW winds since 6 am and S to SW in the last hour.
