At Bracken Ridge we did not too bad at all for the low. In total we received 213mm.
Several warnings in place for flooding. One of the biggest problems that further North did not receive the heavy falls was the low that sat over NSW on Wed. Once that moved away it allowed the low over Southern Queensland to move over the SEQ area to unleash some good totals. As we are approaching King tide on Monday the tides leading up to it on Wed and Thurs. were quite high and caused a few road closures. I had a bit of fun down at the road to Curlew Park, as it was not tidal flooding and was fresh water I drove through a foot or so of fresh water and managed to give the underneath of the 4X4 a good wash.m

Photo 1. Is the reason the system stalled till late Wed.

And the radar during the main system as it moved over the South east. The 128K, 256K and 512K radar For Thursday, not the peak of the rain but a good idea of what the system did.

Over the next 7 days we may see storms and showers over the SEQ and NE NSW.
Then the unknown is the low sitting out in the Coral Sea, The ensembles have it going in all directions, so it is a long way out time wise so anything can happen. Just need to keep a watch on it.
