Notes of yesterday weather - 9/2/20: Mostly cloudy with cu, sc, as and ns clouds. A light shower with heavy falls continued at midnight, a light shower at 7am followed by showers at 9:30am. In the late morning was a mild storm with very heavy rainfall where 9.2 mm fell in 5 minutes. In the early afternoon was a light shower, followed by a light shower in the mid afternoon before a mild thunderstorm with brief heavy falls. A light shower followed as the storm decayed. In the evening were further light showers with some thunder. A cool day. The dew point was stable early in the day before rising during the morning and remained moderately high. The dew point was variable from the mid morning to mid afternoon while remaining moderately high at 22 C to 24 C before falling from the mid morning and became stable tonight close to average. Relative humidity was very stable and high from the early hours of the day before slowly falling from the mid morning but rose and fell several times until becoming stable in the mid afternoon while remaining high. During the rest of the afternoon and in the evening the relative humidity rose slowly. Light and variable winds at times early in the day with some calm winds before E to NE winds during the morning followed by NNE to ENE winds in the mid morning. Winds became variable, then NNW to SSW with the late morning storm and SW winds after the storm. In the afternoon winds became SSE to ESE with some E winds and E to ENE towards the mid afternoon. From the mid afternoon winds were NNE to NNW, and N to NNE in the evening with calm winds at times.
Today: A light shower at 1am. The dew point fell a little in the early hours of today close to average, stabilising early today. High and very stable relative humidity at around 92%. Light NW to NE winds until 2am with some calm winds before calm winds before some N to NW winds at times this morning.
