A severe thunderstorm with extremely heavy rainfall brought 40 mm in 30 minutes from 5:10pm. A light shower followed at 6:30 am. Rainfall since 9am is 43.4 mm. During the storm there were two periods of intense rainfall (of 8 minutes followed by 13 minutes). Maximum rainfall rate was 192 mm/hr a 5:27 pm with a total of 22 minutes of heavy rainfall.
A warm day with the temperature a little variable during the late morning and in the afternoon. From 2:30pm the temperature before falling quite quickly with the storm and then became stable tonight. The dew point was stable during the morning before rising slowly during the afternoon and became moderately high. Just before the storm the dew point rose slightly before falling a little with the storm. After the storm the dew point rose before becoming stable and have remained moderately high. Relative humidity became moderately high before rising sharply in the late afternoon during and after the storm before becoming stable tonight. Light NW to NE winds during the morning, ENE to NE in the earl afternoon before E to NE winds and ENE to NE winds from the mid afternoon. Light W to SSW winds with the storm and S to SE winds after the storm. Earlier tonight winds have been variable before becoming calm since 7pm.
