Notes of yesterday weather - 17/4/20: Mostly sunny with some cu clouds developing from the morning before ci and cc clouds in the afternoon. A hot day. The dew point fell in the early hours before rising during the morning, then fell from the mid morning and became stable from the late morning close to average. The dew point was stable during the afternoon, fell slightly in the mid afternoon, rose sharply for a brief period later in the afternoon before rising more slowly during the rest of the afternoon whilst becoming moderately high. In the evening the dew point fell close to average. Moderately high relative humidity in the early hours and became near average from the morning. Calm winds in the early hours before light and variable winds in the morning before N to WNW winds from the mid morning, NW to SW in the afternoon, N to NW in the mid afternoon before ENE to NNE later in the afternoon and in the early evening, followed by calm winds.
Today: A warm night. The temperature have stopped rising and have became stable in the last half-hour. The dew point fell slowly initially in the early hours, then became stable before rising this morning close to average. Relative humidity was slightly below average in the early hours and was stable before returning to near average this morning. Calm winds overnight before NE winds from 9:20am.
A new record for April daily maximum temperature for the past 10 years (old record of 33.1C on 15/4/2018).
