Did a big 4WD trip today and it was pretty sad just how little water this is from Samford, Mt Glorious and out to Esk. On the way back we went through Helidon, Grantham and out to Mt Sylvia. All the Creek beds were dry as a bone.
Part of the Brisbane River that we crossed over was just about dry to the west. Just a pond of muddy water. Fortunately the main section of the river is tidal.

Here is some pictures of the dry creek beds.Some farms were just brown parched land.
I only could get a couple of shots as I couldn't pull over to capture the real heart breakers.
