Rather cool day yesterday with a max of 10.7, just 0.5 degrees warmer than the May record of 10.2 set in 1987. Felt a lot colder though with the wind chill. Temp dropped to 3.8 at around 9:00 pm & then climbed back up to 7.6 at 10:30 pm. Thought there would have been a frost this morning but the temp only got down to 4.1 overnight. Hasn`t climbed much since, sitting on 8.4 at 10:00 am with a SSW breeze at 5 knots. Could be worse, only 0.3 on top of Mt Kaputar (1510 m ASL) 40 km to the west. 12.7 mm of rain over Thursday & Friday bringing the year total to 415 mm. Yesterdays roller coaster temps. (PWS reads 0.3 degrees +/- off official BOM instruments)
