At 1:30 pm : The temperature has been rising quite slowly and since 11:30am has been rising quite slowly whilst remaining very cold. So far it has reached a maximum of 14.2 C under overcast skies after temporarily dropping back slightly at midday. The temperature at the moment is 2.4 C lower than the same time yesterday. The apparent temperature hasn't risen past 13 C (11 C below the average for this time of day) and the lowest previously in May for the hour of 1pm is 14.6 C in 2019. The dew point fell slowly during the morning before rising this afternoon but has remained moderately low. Relative humidity returned to near average from later in the morning. Wind has been light WNW to WSW with some NNW to WNW and SW winds in the morning. Early this afternoon has been NW to WNW winds.
At 6:35 pm: In the afternoon the temperature fell very slowly or was stable at times after reaching a maximum of 14.4 C in the early afternoon whilst remaining very cold. For this to be a record at my location the temperature will need to stay below the existing record of 17.7 C (for the past 10 years) through to 9am tomorrow, which seems likely according to the forecast. The apparent temperature fell slowly during the afternoon after reaching a maximum of 12 C in the early afternoon. In the late afternoon and tonight the apparent temperature has fallen quickly and is now 8 C with the wind increasing.
Tonight the temperature fell a little quicker and is currently 13 C. The dew point has remained moderately low while falling slowly. Since the early afternoon the relative humidity have stable, near average this afternoon and became moderately low from later this afternoon. Light WNW to NW winds in the afternoon with some WNW to WSW winds in the early afternoon and increasing light WNW to W winds from the late afternoon.
Now: The temperature continued to fall tonight and is cold at 11 C presently. The apparent temperature fell quite quickly earlier tonight before stabilising generally at about 7 C and 8 C. The dew point has also has continued to fall and remains moderately low. Relative humidity have been rising very slowly whilst remaining moderately low. Light to moderate WNW to W winds reduced to light later tonight before W to WSW winds late tonight.
