Notes of yesterday weather - 2/6/20: Sunny. The temperature was a little variable from the mid morning to the mid afternoon. Cool in the evening, though the temperature fell quite slowly due to a continued breeze. The dew point fell slowly initially in the early hours before falling much more quickly for about an hour from 1am before falling more slowly. Moderately low dew point continued to fall during the morning and became low in the late morning when the dew point became stable. In the afternoon the dew point fell a little further before becoming mostly stable just above 0 C during the second half of the afternoon. In the evening the dew point rose slowly whilst remaining low. Moderately high and stable relative humidity fell sharply for about an hour from just after 1am and became low, before remaining moderately low whilst rising a little through to the early morning. Low daytime relative humidity fell to a minimum of 27% in the afternoon, which partially recovered in the late afternoon before remaining low in the evening. Calm winds before WNW to NW winds from 1am and NNW to WNW in the morning. Light and gusty winds at times from the morning of NNW to WNW in the morning, then NW to WSW from the late morning becoming temporarily W to SSW in the mid afternoon, WNW to W during the rest of the afternoon and in the evening and variable winds late in the evening with the wind speed starting to reduce.
Today: The temperature was stable or rose a little at times in the early morning but continued to fall and did a little more quickly than last night. This morning the temperature has warmed quite quickly. The dew point slowly rose today while remaining low. Relative humidity recovered a little further and has been mostly low but eased to moderately low later on in the early hours and in the early morning. Light W to NW winds with some W to SW winds and N to NW winds in the early hours, before WNW to W becoming WSW to SW this morning.
