We cut and split a uteload of ironbark for my old mum....it sure was nice to have a fire going through the night to keep the house from freezing..

Looks like we may get a bit of fishing weather next weekend..maybe a bit bumpy but hopefully doable..get the boat ready bunyip..!

Ron, last mackie trip was only doggies but we gave some to our pooches and the rest I smoked, then froze....last night the missus made up a pasta with some of that smoked fish in cream sauce with spring onions and snow peas...I have to say it was very delicious..we had a reef trip just over 3 weeks ago and loaded up an esky with frozen trout fillets to take to the family down south so our premo freezer reef fish stocks are low here right now.....

28 I think you have definitely been living out west too long if you call 2mm of precipitation actual rain...
