Notes of yesterday weather - 24/8/20: Sunny. The temperature fell slowly early in the day. The temperature was a little variable from the mid morning to the mid afternoon. The temperature fell steadily in the evening and became cool. The dew point generally rose slowly from early moderately low. The dew point became low from the mid morning and was stable before falling slightly in the afternoon close to 0 C before rising sharply in the early evening easing to moderately low and became stable during the rest of the evening. Relative humidity was very low in the early hours, eased to moderately low during the day before rising quickly in the evening and became near average. Light WNW to WSW winds with some NW winds, W to SW in the morning, N to NW in the late morning before NW to SW winds in the afternoon. Later in the afternoon were light NNW to WNW winds, and after light and variable winds in the early evening the wind became calm.
Today: The temperature continued to fall steadily and became cold before sunrise. With the temperature rising quickly this morning the temperature eased to slightly cool. The dew point slowly fell in the early hours moderately low and after stabilising in the early morning the dew point have started to rise. Relative humidity have been slightly below average before starting to fall quickly this morning. The wind have been calm.
Today's minimum temperature was the coolest morning of the year and the lowest for August or for any month since 2.9 C on 30 August 2018.
