@FNQ bunyip just had a look at that table that you have set uo for rainfall that is fantastic. Is that like microsoft excel where it has put formulas etc in and calculates everything for you? I dont have a laptop only my phone but when I eventually get a laptop set up I would like to set up something similar. I was taught once how to use excel but forget most of it, i just manually write down all my rainfall info on paper printed from BOM site.

That is some serious impressive rainfall there your average from 2004 to current of 4098mm a year is above both tully and cape tribs long term records but not quite at babindas level. Ive always wondered what the annual rainfall would be for someone who lives closest to thorntons peak base would be. Someone told me once approx 5000mm a year but that of course was not verified but it wouldnt suprise me. I wouldnt be suprised if the top of thorntons averaged at least as much if not more than the offical station on top of bellen den ker. We will never know.
