Notes of yesterday weather - 31/8/21: Mostly cloudy with Sc and As clouds and partly cloudy with Sc and Cu clouds in the afternoon. The temperature fell slowly or was stable in the early hours to the minimum temperature in the early morning and was warm. The temperature eased to slightly warm in the mid morning, rose more slowly from the mid morning that was a little variable that eased to near average from late in the morning. The temperature was slightly warm in the afternoon that rose to the maximum temperature in the mid afternoon easing to near average later in the afternoon while falling. Slightly warm in the late afternoon before becoming warm and then hot from early in the evening while falling. Dew point was stable from early that rose slightly late in the early hours, before rising in the morning that was slightly above average at the start of the day and moderately high afterwards. The dew point steadily rose in the morning and afternoon that remained moderately high becoming high from the mid afternoon. In the evening the dew point was stable while that was high. Relative humidity was near average from early that became moderately high in the mid morning and high from the late morning while falling a little slowly during the morning, then rose from the mid afternoon before easing to moderately high from early in the evening. Calm winds until variable winds in the mid morning, then N to NE winds in the late morning before SE to NE winds from the middle of the day, light E to NE from the mid afternoon before calm winds in the evening with some variable winds at times.

Today: Fog early this morning, with visibility down to 300 metres at 7am lifting to smoke haze. The temperature fell slowly from the start of the day that was warm or hot easing to warm during the rest of the early hours while the temperature fell to the minimum temperature later in the early hours. Late in the early hours the temperature rose slowly and became stable. This morning the temperature remained stable while easing to near average before starting to rise a little. Moderately high dew point fell slowly from early and rose slightly before stabilising from late in the early hours. Relative humidity was slightly above average while rising slowly before starting to fall presently becoming moderately high. Light ENE and W to WNW winds at the start of the day was followed by S to WSW winds during the rest of the early hours with calm winds at times. Light SW to WSW winds tended S to SW early this morning and S to SSE in the last half hour.
