Great idea. I will add one under the General Weather section.

I made a trip to Norway a few years ago and spent a week in Tromso over Christmas. Not quite 24 hours of darkness, with polar light for a couple of hours and everything looked a beautiful dark blue colour with a tiny patch of orange on the horizon at midday.
From about 11pm, I froze on my back, laying in snow (with a small hip-flask of Whiskey) and looking up. The stars were amazing and on the third night, I saw green Aurora and some tiny patches of orange. It gives me goose bumps typing about it now, because they are an amazing and mystical sight. Shame they don't happen in warm places! (I guess my last comment is for the climate change tread! )

Anyway, Aurora are still on my list to see again.
