Notes of yesterday weather - 2/2/22: Partly cloudy becoming cloudy from the middle of the day with Cu and Sc clouds and Ac and Cb clouds in the afternoon. A mid afternoon severe thunderstorm with moderate to heavy falls and 13 mm in 9 minutes (peaking at 140.4 mm/hr at 2:47pm), followed by some light rain later in the afternoon, early in the evening and clearing in the mid evening. Warm at the very start of the day became hot during the rest of the early hours while the temperature was nearly stable. The temperature rose from early in the morning while easing to warm and back to hot from the mid morning that rose to the maximum temperature in the early afternoon. Ahead of the thunderstorm the temperature fell and very quickly for a brief period with the thunderstorm to 25 C becoming cool. From the mid afternoon the temperature was nearly stable easing later in the afternoon to near average late in the afternoon, slightly warm early in the evening and warm later in the evening. Dew point rose a little at the start of the day, then became stable during the rest of the early hours before rising from early in the morning, moderately high, reaching 26 C in the mid morning, then became stable before falling very slowly from later in the morning. The dew point rose slightly before the storm and fell a little with the storm while temporarily dropping back to slightly above average. After rising a little in the mid afternoon and returned to moderately high the dew point became stable. Relative humidity rose slowly in the early hours, close to average before falling from early this morning, slightly below average easing to near average in the mid morning. Relative humidity then rose before and with the storm reaching near saturation in the mid afternoon and quickly became very high in the mid afternoon. Relative humidity was stable and near saturation afterwards that gradually dropped back to moderately high early in the evening and to slightly above average in the late evening. Light WSW to SSE winds at the start of the day before mostly calm winds with during the rest of the early hours and early in the morning with some variable winds at times. Light NNW to ENE winds with some calm winds in the morning tended N to NW and then WSW to NW later in the morning, then mostly light SW to NW winds in the afternoon, with some N to NE or NE to E winds for a period just before and after the storm that was moderate and gusty with the storm. Light N to NW winds during the rest of the afternoon and in the evening after some variable winds before mostly calm winds later in the evening.


Today: Warm at the start of the day became hot during the rest of the early hours with the temperature falling very slowly. From early in the morning the temperature rose while easing to slightly warm currently. Dew point remains moderately high that fell very slowly from early before starting to rise from early this morning. Relative humidity was stable and close to saturation from early before starting to falling from early this morning close to average. Mostly calm winds from early before light N to NW winds early this morning backed to SSE to SW in the past hour.
