The smoke here at the Tweed is thick enough to block out quite a bit of the sun

Took this snap from home about 4.30pm.


I said to myself. I wonder if this is thick enough to keep temps' below the forecast max?

Looking at the obs' for Coolongatta.In fact the temps' remain the same as the warmth underneath trapping the heat in?

Still around 21deg c .Hasn't dropped after diurnal max at 2pm.
