LOL, you're not the only one. I can't grow them either. I've got one coming up in some dirt in a wheelbarrow, I'm not even watering it, and it seems to be thriving.

Those two heavy falls a few months back have saved us from a brown winter. The yard is still a vague shade of green. Probably should get it mowed, but it's not a nuisance, and attracts the birds.

My two lone pawpaws are doing well, and the mulberry that looked dead is now covered with young bright green leaves and lots of young fruit.

Thank goodness I don't have to cope with moss, mould, slime and lichen.
