At least we haven't had the big dust yet, and no whirlwinds. Those 2 big unseasonal falls months way back have slowed the progress of brown dead grass.

The temperatures are manageable. 36°-37° on the deck, 33°-34a° inside. I'll never forget the October where we had 40°+ every single day about 4 years ago...
