68mm down here overnight...just nice steady rain so far..

A coolish 27c this morning with an Autumny feel to it today..a couple of baby ducks I have are enjoying the puddles..the chickens not so much..

Thanks for that link Tropo..isnt it just amazing how much geography and Topography have to do with the rainfall...

Although its been put down to luck in the past I wonder if that also has anything to do with why Cairns seems to miss the most severe cyclones..?..

Has Cairns even had a severe cyclone in living history..?
