Notes of yesterday weather - 7/4/23: Light rain during this morning, clearing in the middle of the day. Thunder in the late afternoon from two distant thunderstorm with light thundery rain clearing early in the evening. A brief moderate thunderstorm with gusty winds and heavy rainfall (9 mm in 4 minutes) in the late evening, followed by a mild thunderstorm with light to moderate rainfall at the very end of the day. The temperature fell from the start of the day, slightly warm, to warm late in the early hours, before generally rising slowly from early in the morning, close to average, dropping to slightly cool in the mid morning and to cool from the late morning. From later in the afternoon the temperature fell slowly, slightly cool, to near average afterwards and became warm in the evening. Dew point fell slowly from the start of the day, close to average, before rising from early morning, slightly below average. From the middle of the day the dew point generally stabilised, before falling a little in the evening. Relative humidity rose very slowly from early, slightly below average, before mostly stable relative humidity from late in the early hours that became moderately high from the mid morning, and to very high from the late morning. In the afternoon the relative humidity fell a little, became stable in the mid afternoon, being high, rose from the late afternoon, moderately high, and rose more slowly in the evening, slightly above average. Mostly calm winds from early with some variable winds from the mid morning. Light NNW to NE winds from the late morning, became light N to NW in the evening, then backed with the late evening moderate thunderstorm to W to WSW, before veering through to S to SW late in the day.

Today: The temperature fell slowly from the start of the day, warm, before rising slowly from the middle of the early hours before falling very slowly late in the early hours, being hot. From early this morning the temperature rose, being warm, easing to slightly warm in the past hour. Dew point fell slowly from the start of the day, slightly above average, rose a little from later in the early hours, moderately high, before falling from late in the early hours. From the mid morning the dew point fell more quickly, close to average and to slightly below average in the past hour. Relative humidity rose very slowly from early, close to average, before falling from early in the morning, becoming slightly below average in the morning and to moderately low from the mid morning. Mostly calm winds during the early hours with SW winds at times, before light W to WNW winds from the middle of the early hours.
