Notes of yesterday weather - 29/8/23: Partly cloudy with Cu and Sc clouds, before increasing clouds in the afternoon from distant activity with Ci, Ac and Cb clouds. The temperature fell from the start of the day, warm, easing to slightly warm during the early hours, before rising from early in the morning. From late in the morning the temperature generally stabilised, close to average, generally fell slowly in the afternoon, slightly warm, that was a little variable before falling from the mid afternoon that temporarily became warm in the early to mid evening and returned to slightly warm late in the evening. Dew point fell slowly, slightly above average, before rising a little from early in the morning. From the mid morning the dew point stabilised, before falling slowly from later in the morning. During the afternoon the dew point was moderately high at times. Early in the evening the dew point rose a little, slightly above average, before falling a little later in the evening. Relative humidity rose slowly from the start of the day, close to average, before falling during the morning, becoming slightly above average later in the morning. In the afternoon the relative humidity became stable, moderately high, before rising from late in the afternoon, slightly above average but was temporarily near average in the middle of the evening. Mostly calm winds from early with some variable winds, before light S to SW winds during the morning. Later in the morning the wind shifted to mostly NNE to E winds with some calm winds, followed by N to WNW winds early in the afternoon, then briefly S to SE, before light NNW to NE winds from the mid afternoon. From the middle of the evening were mostly calm winds with WNW winds at times.
