Agree with that Bunyip..

I cant believe the overhyped nature around Jasper...

In reality there will be some tree and branchs down and some places will lose power...but its the Wet Tropics in the wet season and the creeks around Cairns will likely get a great flush-out.

Higgins and these infuencer clowns have a lot to answer for..he had headlines of "Cat 5" and other sensationalised garbage in between many posts of how to subscribe for more detailed information...and then they get picked up by the Mainstream media and even sometimes interviewed as "experts"..

There is going to be a lot of mouldy bread and spoiled milk around Cairns in the week..

meanwhile 62mm here so far from the occasional rainbands which also bring squally winds between long periods of hot and still weather..
