I imagine it was a restless night for you guys Dormant..what a horrible slug of a blow..

No wonder the massive rainfall totals and it looks like Cairns is really copping some torrential rain with no end in sight...radar actually showing the rain blob moving south a little so the Daintree might finally get a repreive and we may get some decent rain after just 111 mm from the entire event so far.

I imagine Bunyip and tropo are out and about with the chainsaws cleaning up..it must be pretty squelchy underfoot though...interested to see if they both went outside to empty their raingauges during the night...

over 600 mm from one station up there and 450 plus all over the Mossman/Daintree area..thats just madness.!
