Good morning weather watchers :)
245mm in my gauge this morning after a very wet day and night.
916mm for 3 days.
Had some heavy rain before full light but it has backed off to just drizzle now.

And the radar is out now :( so much for going without for 3 months to make it more reliable.

Bunyip so how is it that some properties have power but it doesnt extend further north..?

Scott, back before the full on development by Quaid there were a few farms and residents over here.
Power was put on and they paid a set amount use it or not. When the big sale of blocks started Quaid
told everyone that power was coming, there were tracks bulldozed over the hill and all. These had started
to regrow buy the time a lot of the early blocks sold.
But then greenies started to block every attempt at extending the power to the new blocks, some people
wanted it and others said No. The government changed and put a block on it and the rest is history.
There are 3 power line crossings of the Daintree.

River is right up this morning, so doubt we will see a ferry service today. Maybe tomorrow if this rain backs off.

Cheers
