To back this up I just checked the Bureau observations for tassie for today and matsuyaker (spelling) Island recorded a gust today if 126km/h and mount Wellington 130km/h and no one will hear anything of this hahaha what a joke these would be cat 2 strength winds up here and is significantly more than anything Townsville just went through.
