Nothing on the radar again this morning, only to see there's the faintest misting "rain" so faint you barely know it's there.

Checking the radar again and there's the odd white bits flashing in and out.

As for winds troppo, the North gets 2 or 3 cyclones max a year, sometimes we don't get any. Yet Brisbane region gets those sudden damaging storms multiple times every year. Obviously not the wind speeds you're mentioning in Tassie, but trees come down, roofs are torn off, & tens of thousands lose power every time.

I still remember Sydney storms, watching the branches of the willow trees blow horizontally for hours.
