Was that actually ex-Kirrily, or a typical Brisbane storm? Oooops...

Is ex-Kirrily the low that still seems to be sitting over western Queensland? I'd been trying to track it on the various radars.

3mm in the gauge from yesterday's scattered showers. Overcast and coolish morning.

Rain cells to each side of us. Looks like we're missing out, but there is the very very faintest of misting rains if you can call it rain. You can hardly see it, except the air looks like it's moving.

Looks like the rain might be about to be gone for a while, although it's still overcast.

27degreesC on the deck, nice and cool.

Always feel a bit sorry for southerners at this time of year, in our Wet Season. Lovely cool temperatures while the south swelters in heatwaves. We tend to get rather smug about it at times, since people don't want to live in the north because of the heat...
