Scott, lots of problems around the shire with water and roads, but the small contractors doing the works
to fix side roads and some other areas, like the Daintree village riverfront access are doing an amazing
job of getting on with it and getting the jobs done, Unfortunately anything the council is directly involved
with is not going so well.
It has now come to light that our council has not even asked for TMR help with the Cape Tribulation access or
the Alexandria Range, as they feel it is to dangerous to let more people onsite. (can't make this stuff up)
They said last week that Alexandria Range will be under one way traffic control for 12 months at least. That's
4.5km of one way traffic , can not even think how long a wait in the queue will be. At the moment it is about
10 to 15 mins..
