I've got one of those 125mm jab into the ground tubes. I've got a pot full of sand that I've jabbed it in, and sat on a flat bit of the top of the septic tank. For something bigger, a proper sized pot should probably have enough weight to hold it in place, unless you're getting fast running water I guess.

No mms in the gauge overnight.

This morning I could have sworn it was the beginning of the Dry. Even the paper as I put it in the printer didn't feel "soggy" any more.

But an hour later the clouds came over and we've had a lovely shower of rain.
