Yep it was a funny one that chopper crash...just lucky that kiwi clown was the only one killed or injured...

Anyway its back to a light showery morning and maybe similar for the week ahead with Sou'easters returning..

Hope some of you guys got out on the water last week....it was pretty spectacular with plenty of fish and whales as thick as the hairs on a dogs back...

We waited till first light to leave the last trip for safety and even saw a pod just 2 km's from the ramp...

Water was still a chilly 23.5c so I just observed while the missus and passenger did some snorkelling..

Hey bunyip did you mention before you got a thermal monocular.?..if so just curious why you didnt get a thermal scope..?

I was talking to a fella thats been using one on a .22 to clean up a plague of wallabies in his cow paddocks with great success..it sounds like a bit of a game changer..
