Scott, We would both like to do cat H, but the whole process is designed to make it hard and give up, My neighbour is
president of the local club, so I should just get on with it and start the ordeal..
As for the .17 not interested, used one many years ago when fox skins were worth shooting and was making good coin.
But the little pills would deflect on grass and had a lot of run offs. I know things have changed a bit with better
performance pills and other chamberings but we don't have the game up here for 1 , love my .22 hornet if I need a bit
more than .22.
Do you reload? I couldn't run some of mine if I didn't, over $4 for a 45/70 shot is just madness.
You said you shoot at the range, are you into any comps or just go and shoot a few targets?
