We have some very hot days ahead of us and some potential storms today, Thursday, and Friday. There is a chance of storms over the weekend as well but just looking at Thursday and Friday 1st and see how it pans out.

GFS has been struggling a little with its stormcast, but EC has performed a bit better in these setups.

The 1 st images are both EC and GFS take on this afternoon. I run the models a little bit further and there is a chance that storms may also roll through Brisbane’s Metro late tonight or early Friday morning,
( 2200- 0100. +) and clearing by Friday morning.

Friday appears to be a bigger storm day as can be seen by EC ( especially) and GFS. I have also added in EC’s Sounding but todays and Fridays Airport and other sites where balloons are released will give us a better picture of what is happening.

In saying all of this, it could go either way, so the best thing to do is to watch and listen for any warnings and keep an eye on the sky.
