The main system is now starting to really get going just to the SouthWest and is slowly getting closer to the Coastal or Eastern Suburbs. As the afternoon continues the atmosphere around the Metropolitan /Coastal areas should start to feed into the band of storms. Right now it appears the upper 500mb is chocking out the storms a little bit.
