So this is an overview of the forecast from Higgins....looks like a wet one ahead


A broad low pressure system will drag topical north west to north east winds into a convergence area from Cairns to Townsville along a south east wind convergence reaching Mackay tonight. ⛈️This will lead to a high risk of very heavy rain and storms causing flash flooding in these areas overnight into tomorrow.
🔴 A tropical low is likely to develop along the coast near Townsville during Friday with a continued heavy rain and flood threat between Mackay and Cairns⛈️
