We got 30mm during the night from a storm a couple of nights back but as mentioned they are very isolated and it wasnt raining here this morning but we had to wait and hour or so this morning before setting up the IPSC course at the range at 8am this morning at Kurrimine..we had to even put garbage bags over all the paper targets till it stopped...the rain eventually moved off to the north and it became filthy hot and sunny but a great day for shooting..

Yeah still plenty of time SM...This is actually more what i have come to expect around here with storms through december/january and monsoon starting later in the month or febuary..December the past 2 years has been quite an anomaly..

Bit early on the barra fishing trip there Ron...Though we accidentally caught a couple off South Mission last week with my sons girlfriend catching her first ever going 75cm...she was pretty stoked..

hey Bunyip ..I agree with your sentiment entirely..i sure hope enough people realise it and vote Albo out for a start..the direction we are headed will ruin this country and just turn it into a sh!thole that so many others are becoming...

Edit at 7.40...Looks like a some cracking stormage has converged over Daintree/mossman for a while now..
