7.5mm here after a drizzly night. Your right Scott, this time of year can be a lucky dip with storms. The lack of rain here made for a great christmas-new year. Bit hot though.

The blob is just starting to reach here, light to steady rain at the moment. It seems to be fizzling out as it gets near.

Edit: Kuranda railway station had 500+mm two days in a row in Jasper. The damage is very evident at the Barron River at Kamerunga Bridge. Swept clean there. Never seen it like that before.
