My daughter was out with friends and having dinner at Newstead when hail started to fall. She said it was not big and didn’t last long. She was very fortunate that it was just the edge of the storm that hit them as it headed NE.

But a short distance away in New Farm, a restaurant had its roof torn off with the high winds from the same storm.
