72mm here...pretty tame event for us so far and weatherzone predicting 10-20 mm for us at Tully over each of the next 2 days...

Which kind of contradicts tha fact that the centre of the low is now south-east of Cairns and moving south which should put us in line for the sort of rainfall that Cairns has been getting, shouldnt it, while Cairns to the north of the system should start to dry out a bit..?

What am I missing ..?..is this low expected to just peter out today or head south- east taking the rain away from the coast ..?

Nice rain for Cairns so far though..

and interesting comment about the weather knobs..how does someone with no training but a passion for the weather have the balls to call themselves an expert, start a weather page to tell people the future and start charging for the service .....and plenty of clowns actually willing to actually give them money to do it...?......Thats what gets me...LOL

anyway main heavy rain looks to be between Cairns and Babinda and slowly drifting south ..Babinda totals will be massive for this event after 200mm and 300mm back to back days already...

We just had a nice rainband come through down here with more to come hopefully..
