We shop at Tully IGA 28..its a good store and much nicer employees then Mission beach Woolies..

Thankfully Tully locals dont go stupid and aside from an understandable limit on bread and eggs everything else at the IGA was just normal...

Mission beach wwoolies is apparently nearly empty but a lot of shoppers there are transients and people that have moved up from down south to live at the Beach bringing their BS city ways with them..

Geez the radar certainly is looking a lot clearer today..!

and yeah SM just got back from the PO to see when we can get our delayed plant orders through and the word they had was that it could be a week or 10 days to return to normal as that photo shows all roads in and out are now cut...not sure how long the water will be over the road near Ingham for..the washed out highway should be a pretty simple fix to at least get traffic moving there again once the Ingham floodplain water level drops....

Wonder how long that will be...?

Greyhound have said they are suspending service for 2 weeks as well..

518mm for Feb already, SM...pretty good going for Cairns isnt it..!

and 28 thats why I dont bother with keeping a rainfall chart...my memory is just terrible so with big rain i often tip it out partway through the day and forget that total ..
